Anatomically, the human body is a composition of skeleton, tissues, and organs. The skeleton provides a primitive structural grid, while the tissues—muscular, neural, connective, and epithelial—form interrelated organic networks. Meanwhile, ideas, emotions, and desires exist as intangible weavings. The intersections and tensions between these layers reflect the processes of maturation, the acceptance of mortality, decay, fall, and also the potential for renewal and florescence.
The body emerges as a “desiring apparatus,” a “Cabinet de Curiosités,” a perpetually reassembled synthesis, an ode to the precious monster within us all.
