This installation was created on the occasion of the group exhibition “Women Move.Imaginary & Real Encounters” at Noucmas in October 2022.

It centres on the Irish designer and architect Eileen Gray and the villa E1027.

The body enters Eileen Gray’s* villa E1027 wearing a specialised outfit.
        A diving suit.
The garment becomes an interpretative machine,
        the garment becomes the eye.
The garment is a sex machine, a home.
The garment transmits to the body everything that exists in the space.
It reflects my identity “again and again”.

        Το εσωτερικό (interior),
        το οικείο (heimlich),
        το μύχιο (secret),
        το ασυνείδητο (unconscious).
        Το ανοίκειο (uncanny),
        το ανορθολογικό (irrational),
        το ονειρικό (dreamlike).

        A discontinuous narrative.
A transposition from austere modernism to the unconscious
of the modern world and the feminine. Sapphic modernism.*
