TextThe needle, “the emblem of female labor,” is the main object of the seamstress, the dressmaker, the embroiderer. The installation consists of experimental variations of reconnection and interpretation of the body that acts and feels with the hands. Holding the needle, hands become tools of vision, assertion, and enjoyment. This artistic intervention Handwritings of S.E.N.* participates in the series of events “Woven narratives. Beyond the horizon, beneath the skin”, curated by Efie Falida.
