TextExoskeleton Tales in a Grove is an installation consisting of five pieces. It is part of the ongoing series Nematographies, which explores imaginary hybrid landscapes materialised through thread. 

Drawn from the sculptural bodies of the centuries-old olive trees in the Kambones grove (trees that seem like immortalised creatures of a fragile yet enduring ecosystem), I created moulds from selected knots and branch junctions in an attempt to capture fragments of their living timeline. These cast “skins” are then displaced from their original context and reworked with cotton thread, transforming into jewellery-like exoskeletons that hover between botanical remains, protective structures, and wearable forms.
